HOLD YOUR HORSES!! - Learn some animal idioms

Hey you!

Let's go on with our Animal Week learning some animal idioms.

Do you know what it means when I say:

"She has ants on your pants."

or

"He's chickened out before the flight."

or maybe

"There's something fishy going on."?

Well, check it out:

1. To have ants on your pants: to be unable to sit still or remain calm out of nervousness or excitement.

E.g.: Lisa had ants in her pants the day before her interview.

2. To chicken out: to decide not to do something out of fear (usually just before)

E.g.: I was going to take a ride on Geoff's motorcycle, but I chickened out when he gave me a helmet to wear.

3. Fishy: odd, suspicious

E.g.: I knew something fishy was going on when I saw all of my friends' cars in my mom's driveway.
